Questions That Need To Be Asked With An Election On The Way

As you know I am all about asking questions and encouraing you to get involved in your life, this country and as a planetary citizen.  Here are some questions that need to asked as we all consider the future of our nation.  Important questions with a presidential election coming soon:

What are your biases?
Do you believe everything you hear and read?
Do you question mainstream media; if not, why not?
Are you able to sort out the truth for yourself?
Do you need to have others tell you how to vote?
How to think?
What to believe?
Have you had enough of this war?
Is our nation’s role to kill as many Iraqis as possible in the name of their freedom?
Should we continue our occupation of Iraq?
Should the rich be given more tax breaks than you?
Should oil companies be given tax breaks to insure huge profits?
Do you really believe that high oil prices have nothing to do with record profits?
Should those with the most money for influence be dictating policy in Congress?
Should the president be held accountable?
Should the president be allowed to pocket veto?
Shouldn’t the Congress and the President represent the needs of the people?
Are you tired yet, of the government being run by fear mongers?
How come there are so many Americans in prisons and we keep building more?
Have you heard of the secret prisons being built, the prison ships, the CIA prisons in other countries?
How come so many Americans are on medications?  How come many medications cause people to take more medications?  Drug companies have huge profits at what cost to people?
How come every other modern nation has universal health care and the US does not?
How come conservative religious fanatics in this country are allowed to influence the political process?
How the 5% of the people have 90% of the wealth?
How come banks basically are allowed to steal from their customers with fees and inflating rates in credit cards and mortgages?
How come the health of the Earth doesn’t matter to the leaders in the White House when it matters in most other nations?
Are you getting tired of the endless lies that come from politicians?
Do you believe Americans should support torture?
Is it ok with you that your government is spying on you?
Do you still believe in Democracy?
Do you believe that people can make a difference?
Can we count on our government to make a difference?
How do you have in mind to make this country and our planet better?

Hello again Joseph,

I've been meaning to message you again since the Native American Sweat Lodge ceremony I participated in 3 weeks ago. Yes, it was a VERY powerful experience... amazing, beautiful, authentic. A true challenge on every level... spriritual, physical and mental. I know Crooked River Ranch and thanks for letting me know you have family out here and that you grew up in Portland. Crooked River Ranch is a beautiful area... and for a city, I love Portland. Just gotta embrace the rain right?!

Anyway, I've been loving your posts as always. I'm amazed you constantly come up with relative, inspirational, beautiful thoughts, words and experiences.

You came up with some really good questions we all need to be asking ourselves. I believe the situation we're in was started long ago by the central bankers who created our federal reserve, the CIA, the Council on Foreign Relations, created and funded both sides of countless wars, assasinated Kennedy, are working quickly on the North American Union etc etc etc. As Thomas Jefferson said: "If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them, will deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."
That's exactly what's happening... our nation is being sold bit by bit to the corporate/banking/political elite. The current financial crisis is great for the elite... just look at the JP Morgan (a creator of the Fed Reserve) purchase of Bear Stearns for pennies on the dollar for one example. The people that run our government behind the scenes and install puppet politicians do not like America.

Anyway, I could go on and on about this as I started researching all of this about 6 months after 9/11... when I realized the official story of 9/11 just makes no logical sense at all. HOWEVER, I choose to focus on the beauty, love and music that is everywhere. It is easy for me to get worked up thinking about the negatives and then I realize we've all got to ask those tough questions and acknowledge the TRUTH. But we also have to realize we're in the midst of a true spiritual revolution and all this deception cannot last as more and more people wake up, become truly conscious, realize the mainstream media is full of lies and search for their own truth. This is an amazing time to be alive!

And make no mistake about it, you are playing an important role in this process with all you're doing. Just your blog is helping people to realize beauty, realize their own true power and question authority/Mainstream Media etc. Keep on doing your thing brother-

Rob

Thanks Rob for the long note again. I can see your mind is like mine in that we know there are greater truths and we keep looking for them. The banking industry is one that has me concerned to.

We do live in an amazing time and you are so right in saying the real truth will come to the surface. I think the planet is shifting now as the forces of light and greed grow stronger. We know the light will win out.

Have a wonderful week.
